Perfect White
January 3, 2010
The thunder rolls, the lightning strikes
the carpet is painted white.
The rain pounds, the wind blows
leaves are what fall to the ground.
My tears are flowing,
they stain that oh so perfect
white carpet red.
They drain my heart like a drought
because you my dear have
ripped it out.
You said you cared, but I guess
you lied.
So let me cry so I can stain
that oh so perfect white.
