Unnerve The Nervous
dark and tired
toss and turn you,
hold me quietly
locked in, trapped out
freeze and sweat you,
sing so smooth
in and out
you, catch and release
all the pieces I left
cure not heal
lost and found you,
back in bed
drop and dread
relative, not defending you,
wrap up so nice
watch and read
minutes and hours for you,
can’t count on anything
swim and drown
abandon the dead you,
like disappearing
metal or plastic
tough not tender you,
rip not fall
apart and together
dark and tired
tossing, turning you,
bent me.
