Everybody loves me
‘Cause they don’t know who I am
They cry to me, complain to me
And let me hold their hand
They take for granted my smile
Assuming that it’s real
They thank me and they hug me
Never asking how I feel
They never thought that maybe
It could be a lie
If only they knew when they awoke to their damp pillows
It was my tears that they cried
