Damnation
It slowly begins to hurt to breathe,
Every emotion consuming me.
Begging, pleading with the gods above,
Crying out to them, asking them to stop!
End this torture! Stop this pain!
Cease my bleeding, freeze my veins!
Stop my heart, stop the pulsing!
The world stops moving...
My blood stops rushing.
The angels in the Heavens catch their breath,
As the demons on the Earth
Prepare to laugh.
Time means nothing in eternity,
But this is no eternal rest.
The gods who have damned me from up above,
Refuse to grant me even that.
