Remember?
Remember that one time at Krispy Kreme
When I couldn’t stop laughing?
When I tried to give her money
But took it back because I was short thirty-seven cents?
Remember when you looked at me
Unaware
And started laughing too?
Or how about that time on the way to Olive Garden
When mom and dad were yelling
And it didn’t make any sense.
Remember?
You slouched in your seat
And I slouched too
And you said
“Can’t you see that you’re tearing our family apart?”
Or maybe you said
“Why are you arguing for argument’s sake?”
Or maybe you said
“This is bull.”
Do you remember like I do?
Do you remember brotherhood?
The glimpses of what I assume to be bonding?
Do you?
