Company to a Lonely Heart
You wait until i revisit that loneliness inside of your heart
wait like winter does for spring
your heart is but an endless tundra
waiting for a mere glimpse of warmth
that emits from mine
you and i, we are nothing alike
but yet we come together
and like the moon to the night
we comprehend the paradox that is our love
opposites..
and yet we essentially have something in common.
we are but love's extended metaphor
