My Heart let go to Snow

I am surrounded by people
But I feel completely
and utterly
alone.

My worries,
My troubles
are all
Gone.

I look into the distance
To find
Something
greater

But all I can see is.
Nothing.
There must be something
Beyond
this world

Someplace
Majestic

What
Path
Can get me there,

I don’t know
Which
way
to turn
but to follow my heart

Do I take a step
forward,
Left

Or

Right

Does that lead me
Any closer?

Realizing on the way
It’s does not matter as much
As the destination
But it’s the journey
That counts.

My English teacher took my class out of the presence of the school, while it was snowing. She said write poetry on how you feel from the snow. This is where I created my poem called Snow.
