The orange flag whips about wildly,
at the mercy of the wind.
It clings on for dear life,
knowing if it lets go,
it will be no more.
It is hanging on to the one stable thing it has,
it's one foundation.
The one thing that will never fail or falter.
As the flag depends on the pole,
as do we depend on each other
