Here I Am

I am here, but I am not.
I saw it, but I did not see.
I felt it, but I do not feel it.
I tasted the sweetness of it, but it was not good.
I walked along the path, but I was lost.
I heard the truth, but it was false.
I held on to it, but I never had it.
But my friend this is not me.
For I am here.
I can see it clear.
I feel it every moment.
I enjoy the sweetness of it and the taste is pure.
I walk the path and it leads me not astray.
I hear the truth and the truth is true.
I have always had it.
Here I am.
