Winter Wonderland
December 22, 2009
The delicate white flakes gently float through the sky,
stacking up in layers on the frozen ground.
The young boys and girls frolic and play
during recess on this cold, chilly day.
Snowmen and snowladies
stand in front yards,
waving to cars passing by.
Ice skaters skating,
skiers skiing,
and warm fires crackling.
Christmas carols are heard all around,
everyone loves the bright cheery sound.
So as long as we have our family and friends
we’ll be happy and loved
on this holiday break.
