In a Moment

I can feel his gaze
burning through my clothes
making me uncomfortable
more than you could know

I think for just once second
maybe he truly cares
so i give in and follow through
and for another second

he made me his whole world
and in a moment less
all the magic that i felt
died within the night

I think about it all the time
and then i start to cry
why couldn't I have just said no
why didn't I say no?
