Finding myself is nearly impossible.
I'm searching day after day,
growing desperate to know who I am.

I don't know the girl in the mirror.
Who she is or what she likes.

She haunts my thoughts.
Her grief is reflected in my eyes.

Her rare smile flashes across my face.
Her burden is visible in me.

Suffering and lonliness.
The occasional moment of joy.

I am the girl in the Mirror.

I wrote this poem when I was feeling lonely and confused. I wanted to get those feelings out somehow.
