The leaves have faded,
more of a greenhouse green,
where the plaster is beginning to chip and become more mossy.
The bare branches dry and flaky gives away its sign of struggling to hold on just that much more longer.
Fall is approaching quickly and unforgiving and it shows no mercy.

This piece was written in English class on a field trip. I was laying in the grass just staring at the tress and decided to write.
