Blue moon beyond the vivid silhouette, an outline of pure brilliance
In the depths of the thickened pines, branches weighed down by the heavy powdered snow
Incoming wise and free, shrewd with wings, eyes that beam, astound
Venturing among an empty nights sky, a soft land upon the tip of a tree so high
Listening in on the world to be told, yet seen but a stilled structure
A take off, the divine, creator of all nights offering
The midnighter carries on, out of site, the absolute owl,
remains in the expert sky.
