Looking back,
I see what has changed,
And I realize that,
I have changed.

Changed so that I have some defense,
Defense against you,
With your lies
And controlling ways.

This change has caused you to leave me,
Abandon me,
But you are not needed,
Because everyone else loves me just the way I am.
