Barriers of my heart

I don't want to fall for you
or get to close
That's the base of this wall I suppose
The wall is strong and fortified
It won't come down soon it's barricaded on the inside
I'm caught between two odds
I could tear down this wall
and make room for you
But what would I do if we fall
I could let this wall stand high
But doing that would ultimately be telling you good-bye
