Hitler created the holocaust

Trying for their extinction
He pushed his own nation
For their extermination

With his insane deceptions
Plunging his own nation into a recession

He thought the solution
Was killing a section
A very small portion

They were the targeted
Gassed, gunned, and gutted

They usually came under this name
Jew

They were the ones that took the worst
Along with them came a so-called
Imperfect crowd

Gypsies and Jehovah’s Witnesses alike
Incurables and Soviet POW’s
And many more

11 million in total they died like small flies.

You think I am lying?
You think I am insane
You think I am trying to play some game?

Fortunately his plan wasn’t finished.
Boom! Boom! Were the sounds of struggles
Allies were coming
Was all that the victims could think

Soon overcame the Nazis ran
Like scared scurrying stubby mice
They fled trying to save their own skin

Alas they were caught the top ones to be certain
They were stopped and put to trial
All found guilty they were hanged
Hitler afraid of what the Allies would do
He took his own life and stooped taking Jews

This justice is a pebble to the
Giant wall of injustice victims got
Never can it be erased
The horrible disaster

Only remember those of the fallen
And make sure it happens never again

Amazing, but it is no surprise that the average teens won't read something unless it's been supposedly "discovered" or includes some prissy vampire.

But I know the underlying message of this, beautifully written,

"Never forget......"
