you don't know what it's like
to be so close
I can see him
touch him
but yet he is far

he does not know how i feel
so we are distant
somehow seeing him once
helps, easier for me to
pretend all is well

but the fear that he
might find out
how i truly feel would be
unbearable, it's crazy because
i dare not ask if he feels the same

because if he doesn't
i could not take it
ask no questions
because i might not
like the answer

I really like your work. There's this guy I have been on and off with for a while now but I don't think he knows how I really really feel
