It was night, and the rain fell; and falling, it was rain, but, having fallen, it was blood
- Edgar Allan Poe

The bitterest tears are always shed,
for deeds left undone and words left unsaid.

Remembering now, the past.
And what it used to be,
life will never be the same,
here all alone, this lonely me.
They say it'll pass this demon of my past.
This wolf in sheep's clothing.
A cheap shot to myself confidence.
You tripped me into this deep dark abyss of my own providence

You provoked this demon, this demon of my former self.
To make me what I'm not, you propaganda filled black whole.
You suck till there is nothing left,

my heart,
my life,
my time,
my soul.

The love which was fake, the words they break.
My love was just an affliction.
The illusion of your love, with smoke and mirrors.
Blinded by false hope and lust,
this cage that surrounds my mind, all covered in rust.

So I'm gonna to smile, like nothing's wrong.
Talk like everything's perfect.
Act like this is all a dream.
And pretend it's not hurting me.
