Lines cascade down long, gentle fingers,
Dirt engraved in yawning creases,
Like the deep Grand Canyon –
Nerves explode like fireworks at immediate touch.
How can appendages that have experienced
So much still contain such innocence?
Hands; writing, building, creating-
The most essential component.
