A Superhero of Today
Who says you have to have superpowers?
A superhero to save the day.
The one who saves everyone from,
The catastrophic doom that will bring a gloom tomorrow.
The kids respect and honor you,
The adults, nothing more then to recollect
Who you are
Turn you in for the destruction of nature,
And find out who is truly under the mask
Of the tasked vigilante
So let’s just say, I were the superhero.
I wouldn’t be the one
Who saves the day
Wouldn’t be the one
Who saves the planet and the face of humankind.
My true identity blind to the world, at most
It wouldn’t matter to anyone. If I could
I would make a difference in ones life
Change it for the better.
Maybe then, a superhero would be called in the making.
