I was there
A child dreaming
Not some made believe, or brought on strong emotions
I was real, living and alive
I had a heart beat, a soul and thoughts
But nobody knew
I was a part of a flock a heard others would say
Just going in the same direction
Never looking left or right to see where I was going
It was a path
I was to follow it
G-d said, obey thy parents
I did
It didn’t go so well
You weren’t part of their lesson plan g-d
Neither was my happiness
Or yours or any one’s for that matter
I was following route 95 to no were

“So this is your plan G-d” I asked
He didn’t answer
Neither did anyone else
Nobody did
