It’s shone in your face
Every time you see me
It’s hidden in your eyes
But it’s easy to see

It’s there unavoidable
Peaking through your strength
Looking for someone to hurt
Again and again and again

You’ve tried to conceal it
But deep down you know you can’t
Something many people possess
