I open an eye,
To what my life has become,
Much like a poem to me.
It is bright as a flash of light,
Yet as serene as music on a warm summer night.
It is open and wide,
As unstoppable as time.
It is a sigh of relief,
A whisper of love.
It's a kiss on the hand,
As a new life begins.
