Like Being Killed

December 16, 2009
By Anonymous

Sadness constricts my throat
Winding around my windpipe
Cutting off my air
I can’t breathe
Tears are forced from my eyes
A river after the spring thaw
Grief churns my stomach
Upsetting the contents
Causing it to slosh around
I’m going to be sick
Self pity in my gut
Quickly turning to self disgust
I continue through my life
Suffocating
Dying
