Why Try
Why Should I try when I get looked over?
I tried in the beginning, but you looked past me at others.
You say you want to pay attention to those who improve and want to learn.
I was willing to learn, but you never tried to teach.
I cannot improve if you don't teach.
Now I am discouraged.
Just another forgotten person taking up space in lane one.
I am left wondering why should I try if you won't.
