"An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it." - Mohandas Gandhi

vibrant green
grass tickles as the feet
tread forward
goal for the scenic end

brilliant sky
sun completely illuminates
in relaxation
fluffy clouds understanding

soft ground
tree provides support
young playing
loudly but still aware

rough bark
trunk is uncaring
back scraped
in pursuit of comfort

birds chirping
beautifully in their song
breeze rolling
gently does life sway

smoke rising
from a far away family
strong breath
can almost taste it

purest content
where nice is perfection
eyes wander
simple wonders to behold

gentle sigh
what a fulfilled day
lazy eyes
close shut – a perfect end

noise, startling
loud and foreign
return to normal consciousness
eyes adjust to black

quick, registered
lazy in ending
slowly rise in the pale moonlight
the grass teasing skin

awe, starstruck
dark with majesty
slowly ambling from brooding tree
in utter admiration

wet, cold
air is damp
dew sparkles from every tip
ground alike sky

still, silent
even as moving
quiet symphony of life heard
total reverence

watch, stolid
ground wets feet
absolutely no attempt to move
from beauty

pitter, patter
air smells metallic
the entirety is now damp
head to toe

time to return home
