furure of a girl
See her scream, see her cry
See the pain she feels inside
See the bruises, see the scars
See the man who hits her hard
See the boy she wants to tell
The one who always knew her well
See him laugh and walk away
She wasn't to die, just to be free.
See the secrets she never shared
The the family who never cared
See the tears she hides behind
See her senses fade, Deaf, Dumb and blind.
See her loose the will to live
Hear the thoughts she refuses to give
Watch her sitting all alone
No place to love, or call her home
See that girl, who once was tall
Crippled, dying and underneath it all:
She knows the man who put her here
Would never dream of curing her fear
The mascara is running, the tears are shed
She is just so tired...It's time for bed.
The light goes off and she closes her eyes
And dreams of a place without "Those Sorts of Guys"
That poor girl's body was never found
But they know, somewhere she ispeaceful, lying six feet underground.
