One chance

You don't know me yet
But if you give it some time you will
I'm only a tiny cell
If you just wait
Soon I'll grow up
And maybe I'll look like you
If you give me a chance
You may not know I'm here
But in a few months I'll give you a love tap
And a kick
Just to remind you I love you
Soon after I'll have my own identity
I'll have my own name
If you give me a chance
One day I could be a sister
Or a brother
I could become an uncle
Maybe a mother
Or father later in life
I could fight fires
I might even lead our country
If and only if you give the chance
