My Life and Pain

October 5, 2009

I see an innocent child as I step in front of a mirror.
They see a monster, a creature, even a late night feature.
I roam the city alone, thinking about everything that I know.
They look at me without a gleam in their eye.
I pass by them with a quiet sigh.
All the mistakes in my life all collide on me, this horrible guilt and pain is making me bleed.
All I want to be is set free!
Why can’t you leave me alone?
Is it really that hard?
As I lay here in a corner on the floor huddled up.
I think to myself, “Why does the world hold such a grudge?”
Now I ask you world and everyone in it.
Would you really want to torture and kill the innocent?
