I Want To Be

I want to be
on a hot summer day.
I want feel white sands scorch my feet, as I'm
moving, a
smile etched onto my face. I want the
sun to smile down on me, I want to feel
Bliss. I want this--
I want to be there.

I want to be
grieving, with
the raindrops cascading down as I'm
outstretching my arms toward the gray sky,
not understanding. I want to hear the
synchronized beat of
clouds crying. I want to feel
Sorrow. I want this--
I want to be there.

I want to be
away from everything. I want to hear the
thumping of my feet on the pavement as my
hair whips behind me, unable to catch up. I want to
scream, I want to be somewhere
unfamiliar, I want to be anywhere but here. I want to feel
Rage. I want this--
I want to be there.

I want to be
crying, and laughing,
dancing, and singing. I want to be
I want to be
I want to be.

Every word here is so packed with an urgent and almost erratic kind of emotion . You did wonderfully in portraying who you wanna be and how you wanna be it . Your descriptions are vivid ; the power of the imagery unmistakable . We have a true artist in our midst . ;)

Feel free to check out some of my stuff , and comment if you like . Thanks , and great job again . (:
