How bitter sweet the memories will be,
when you are old beyond the age of wisdom.
You may remember the sunset the night we fell
like stars.
Perhaps you will dream of me just once more,
of a last kiss bestowed upon the cheek,
and the last touch of our skin
before the midnight ends.

Perhaps i will become your mistress of dreams,
The song you sing in the night,
when your Mrs. is away.
Maybe i will burn in your mind
like the fire of our past.

Just like the years ago, however,
the worlds will not align for us,
so perhaps it's better that you forget.

-a forward goodbye
