Dare to Imagine

The sky is purple
The grass is pink
Thorns are friendly
But roses stink
Turkeys can swim
And slugs can fly
Gush through the air
And stain the sky
A monster in the closet
A lion in the den
I have three chopsticks
And one purple pen
He is a spy
So you should beware
He gobbles up children
And knits with their hair
It is a spaceship
That will reach Mars
This wonderful, fantastic
Tree house of ours
Blank paper begins
What crayons can end
So always imagine
What you can pretend
