Soul Mate
Your lips lock onto mine,
the intenseness of your kiss,
your touch
overwhelms my body.
My mind goes numb,
my body limp.
My heart races.
And then you're gone again.
Disappeared from the face of the earth.
Invisibale to the naked eye.
I lie awake dreaming of you,
thinking of you and only you.
"I love you," I whispered into the empy air, as if you could hear me.
The night is solemn, my body lies lifeless.
The mattress besides me develops a crease.
A body of a man appears.
"I love you more," he whispers back into my ear,
grazing it slightly with his lips.
We gaze into each other's eyes.
My body regains life, and feeling.
As a smile crosses your lips,
my heart warms,
you are my chosen one,
my soul mate.
