Dreams
My dream is clear as a crystal,
I invison being on that stage with the crowd cheering for me and only me,
People scream like in horror movies and cry like in sad movies,
All because my lyrics relate to them.
To know that I made a difference in someone’s life like that and helped them through a tough time,
Truthfully makes me want to cry with happiness.
I get on that stage every night and give it my all because when I was in that crowd’s position that’s what I expected so I will give my fans nothing less.
My voice gives people chills like nails on a chalkboard but in the good way,
Music has always been a part of me but to live it like all my idols have,
Is the real dream.
Some say I play guitar, piano, maybe even a little drums and I sing,
They question how I ever achieved a goal as high as the sky.
And I have to reply:
“If you dream it, go for it! Don’t let anyone ever get you down!” Because,
That’s what I’ve always been told,
And to everyone who ever said I couldn’t, look at me now.
