Where reality divides emotion and illusion,
In the emptiness,
I'm standing in motion.
You're on the other side,
As beautiful as ever,
But you fade away.
And when the new season ushers you out,
So suddenly, so quietly;
History repeats,
So cyclic, and so evil.
The foundation falls,
The hope cripples,
The leaves lose their color and finish dying,
And I am trapped behind the wall,
that keeps building around me.
The air grows cold and bitter,
And time begins to blur...
Progress ceases to exist,
And i see truth as it is: raw.
The curtain ripped away from what I once thought was real,
And until the sun regains its command of the Earth,
I revolve around your design,
Your persona,
And your symbolism;
The unattainable.
