Did you pull
The thin red strings
Joining our wrists
Together
So as to lead me down
A velvety black
Rabbit hole?
Was it easy
For you to lie
Through your teeth
Knowing that all our
Laughter and secrets and trust
Were a mockery of what
You'll never know?
Is it even possibly
Possible
That you could even
Be capable
Of possessing something
So beautiful
That it could never live or die nor grow?

Anyone who says they have only one life to live must not know how to read a book.

I like the imagery of the beginning of this poem, but I am not quite sure what the last line means. By the way I like your reference to Alice in Wonderland, it really grounds the poem for me.
