I Never Chose to Play
The life that they seem to stage
Because of them I’m in this eternal cage
Never to be free
They never thought about me
They have come and taken it all
Making anything in their way fall
Now the darkness is mine
For I crossed the invisible line
I wasn’t given a choice
Yet they took away my voice
They took from me all that I had
For what I am a claim they’re mad
But what I think matters not
For here I lay in an empty lot
My heart lazily crawling from my chest
I could have been the best
I could have been so much
But now I will never touch
The hearts that meant the world to me
All they will ever see
Is my end in life
Having been cut short by a knife
When did I get caught in this war?
I have nothing left in store
My future had come and gone
What was it that I did wrong?
