Sadness can come to you at any time
Hitting you like a milestone
Despair comes from a great tragedy
Both are the true forms of darkness
When you’re sad, you shed tears
It can be for a lost loved one
Or having your heart ripped out by someone you trusted
A side of the true face of darkness
Despair is when you lose all hope
Happens when you have been put down for too long
Then you lose all feeling of what you ever wanted in life
Worst of all, you lose yourself
Because without hope
There’s nothing really to hold on to
So you drift away
To the power of the great darkness
