Walking barefoot over thumbtacks is how I felt when my best friend turned into a heartless, shallow friend. She is so different. Her apple pie sweet voice is not the person she is. She acted as if everything was normal. Life is difficult when you had a best friend who was heartless, shallow and had a apple pie voice. I wanted to explode when I found out how heartless she was. She never considered how it affected me. It made me feel as if I was walking barefoot over thumbtacks. Friends that are heartless and shallow are friends that you never want to have.
