Studying the topography of the syllables,
my brain stretches to wrap itself around your lyrics,
melodic, able to sooth, bien linda,
you name it,
'una cancion para tu corazon,'
the flowers with which you speak.

Hymns,
promptly at dusk,
kissing the sun good night,
because,
you tell me,
I am the sun,
and you are the moon,
and you are perpetually chasing me,
these words, a direct translation,
'from my soul to your ear,'
you whisper.
The flowers with which you speak.

A glance across a room,
pretending you do not know me,
a flightless flight.
So many technicalities,
my feelings do not mirror yours,
any fool could see our assymetrical hearts,
y dices, 'ven pa'ca princesa, te adoro.'
The flowers with which you speak.

Díme niño,
díme porque,
porque dices estas palabras,
romanticos y hermosas,
pero no hagas nada?
Por falta de accion,
I struggle with myself,
to not fall prey to,
the flowers with which you speak.

Part of a school project that I fell in love with. I've always wanted to include the Spanish bits.

Translations:
bien linda-very beautiful
una cancion para tu corazon- a song for your heart
y dices, 'ven pa'ca princesa, te adoro'-and you say, come here princess, I adore you.
Díme niño bonito,
díme porque,
porque dices estas palabras,
romanticos y hermosas,
pero no hagas nada?
Por falta de accion, -Tell me pretty boy,
tell me why,
why you say these words,
romantic and lovely,
but you do nothing?
For lack of action...

I love this poem XD!!!! I absolutely love "Spanglish." It's absolutely my favourite language, even though it's not a real language. Just the way the words sound when you put them together is pure poetry to me in and of itself, but the way you have used these two languages and they fit together so naturally, so perfectly, really you have created a wonderful work of art with your words. The way the syllables play off eachother and just enhance eachother-it's just fantastic!!! Every word a gem in this piece-nothing wasted, which is so important!! The images are beautiful as the words and their placement. You have a great gift! Sorry for writing so ecstatically, but it's just great!!!! Keep writing this great, and I can tell you have an awesome future in writing!! Buena suerte ;)
