The legerdemain of the conductor
Majestically swings the baton
As the trill of the flutes and the trios of the strings
Take the lead of the first few notes
Cymbals and bells chime after this prelude
As the trumpets and horns blare out forte to fortissimo
Mesmerizing the listeners with their soul-filled nuances
The musical souls come alive
Under the bright lights
And soar over the arched ceiling
Making the spirits of the musicians and the audience
Become as one through the one and only
Charisma of the orchestra
