Clutching the wheel
Knuckles white
Head tipped back
Relaxed yet tense

Will never forget
That moment
Our eyes met
His unwavering gaze
Emblazoned on my mind

Driving home
Alone and dark
Thinking about him
Wondering
What to do

The author's comments:
I came up with this one while driving home after playing in the pep band at a volleyball game. It is exactly what was going through my mind after catching the eye of my crush.
