A bright, sparkling star;
confined in the dark reaches of space.
Competing against everythng;
trying to shine its brightest.
Pressure builds, the star weakens.
At a last attempt,
for the briefest moment,
the star shines with such vigour,
it's blinding.
A brilliant, agile student
trapped within the rules.
Going up against everything;
trying to overcome.
His stress grows, and he gets weary.
As his last chance,
for a fraction of a second,
he pushes himself farther
reaching for the stars.
