People tell me laugh my heart out...but for some reason i spend my time crying it out on my sleeves...then they say dance in the rain...but they dont realize it only rains cause im crying them rain drops..People say the dumbest things like cherish the moment and ignore the pain...my moments are nothing but pain...why charish it...The smartest thing ive heard....lifes to short....just gotta make it work...- Ashley Smith

My Poem :] 3
Midnight fire
Sleeping away the day
waiting for the midnight fire
finally as the sun of night rises
hoopen and hollering
the country folk rise
putting tale gates down
passing drinks all around the
midnight fire remenissing about good times
pooring drinks all night
watching the fire and the ambers climb the sky
turning into stars as
as the midnight fire ends
the country folk dash to hide under the sheets
with the ashes left behide from a midnight fire.

I had the idea to right this when I was with my family gathered around a fire.
