As you leave
Please remember this person
Mindlessly standing at the crooked door frame
As your shadow tread into the street lights
Don’t forget me
As you place your glittering foot into the limousine with ease
Please remember all the fun
Although you are enjoying your fame
As you are swarmed around by paparazzi during the night
I say these words, but you will not remember me
You will forget me as you are forgetting yourself and what you used to be
