Coal eyes flare,
Twisted hair tumbles
‘Round a young, impish face.
Spoils hang on unweathered neck.
Colored covers hide remnants
Of spilled, necessary blood.
Metal glints,
Saucer-plate teeth bared,
Ready for the attack.
