When I was a kid

There once was a time
a long time ago
when everything made sense
Those were the days
i was stupid but i didn’t care
we were all so ignorant
but that was the beauty of it
there was no good and evil
Time went by though
and we found out
our father didn’t know everything
and neither did grandpa
We became confused and lost
nothing made sense
and right before we collapsed
we realized
The only thing that made sense anymore
was the fact
that nothing made sense
and as soon as we found that out
it all made sense
