Realize
If you ever bothered to open
 those beady brown eyes
 maybe you'd realize
that the woman standing before us
has done nothing but teach, live and love

If you ever bothered to open
 your dull, dark, mind
 you'd finally realize
that she is another human too
with emotions that can be torn apart, just like yours

If you ever bothered to listen
you'd hear the knowledge she gives
 echoing through you hollow head
and you'd realize the frustration of a woman
who's spent precious hours to get it thrown back at her

If you ever bothered to look
 beyond your narrow selfish world
 you would realize
that a classroom of eyes glare at your words of hate
and hurt for the one we love
