Out of the Dust

Created from a breath into dust
It took just an apple to turn us to lust
How can an image of God be tricked by a snake
The innocence of all mankind did the devil take
Generations we would have to wait
Till a man came that would change all fate
God himself in flesh and skin
Lived to die to clean all sin
Yet we cast him completely away
No praying in school is allowed today
We wonder why kids are messed up in guns and such
Maybe if we’d just let the Holy Spirit touch
All would come to a quick, miraculous end
To Heaven our children would we send.
